If we're saying no to Texas for 4 teams. We should say no to California to having 5.

I've always thought Kansas City, Missouri should have a pro basketball team. Good sports city and they love basketball there. No pro hoops in Missouri at the moment. Kansas City also already has an arena a NBA team could play in today.
Sweet I love those logos Alex! Could you put something together for each of those teams? Then I'll have icons I can use in threads and on the board listings!
I think we should consider giving Jacksonville a team instead of Tampa Bay, or not even putting a third team in Florida.
Tampa is less than a 90 minute drive from Orlando... doesn't really warrant a need for a 2nd team. Tampa has baseball and football teams because Orlando doesn't.
Same with Jacksonville. It is only 2 hours from Orlando. Same reason there's not a professional football team in Orlando

I like most of the suggestions you guys have offered but really feel like we are missing the mark on not going global with at least 2 or 3 of the franchises. Vancouver has been discussed but London and Mexico City should be on the board as well. Rome would be great but it is probably a little unrealistic from a travel perspective. Paris? Berlin? Barcelona? Madrid?
The more I think of it the more I like, in this order, 1) London 2) Vancouver 3)Mexico City.
Also, I love the Las Vegas Aces franchise. It is my favorite so far of domestic names. Definitely for Seattle Sonics as well. Next for me would probably be the Virginia Squires.
I am not for Jacksonville or Tampa Bay. If we were considering a smaller market, then I would recommend Raleigh-Durham NC. This is the heart of college basketball being in the center of ACC country with Duke and UNC dominating the area. The old ABA team from the area would be my small market suggestion - Carolina Cougars.
I'm not in favour of Euro teams, sorry Mr Bird and Coach K.
My problem with the Cincinnati Copperheads is that their colour scheme would be identical, and the team name would sound similar, to the nearby Cleveland Cavaliers. Geographical location doesn't bother me so much, in fact it would almost make sense to have another New York team really, so a third Florida team doesn't bother me.
At the moment I'm still in favour of these six, but if someone can make a case (and especially some logos) for anywhere else in the United States / Canada I'm always open to further discussion.
Seattle Sonics Las Vegas Aces Vancouver Sasquatch (to be honest I'd prefer Vikings, but meh) Virginia Squires Pittsburgh Pioneers Tampa Bay Assassins
